Where to Eat Cheap Buffet for Asian Menu Diners
I just love eating cheap buffet at hotels. If there are people who love trying out all the restaurants that can be found in malls, there are also people like me who love the experience of eating at hotels, especially if the price is cheap or if they have an ongoing buffet promo. Last week, I convinced my friend Monica to try out Hotel H2O’s Makan Makan Asian Food Village which can be found inside Manila Ocean Park. We bought buffet vouchers at Supreme Deals, who are now offering diners a Father’s Day Buffet Dinner or Breakfast Buffet vouchers.
As we were famished, we eagerly ate our food. Makan Makan’s affordable buffet is a mix of Chinese restaurant menu, Asian menu and more. There was crab rice as well as garlic rice and they also offered pasta dishes like spaghetti and carbonara. For those looking for healthy Asian recipes, you will be glad to find that they have lumpiang ubod, mixed veggies and a salad bar where you can get your fill of vegetables. Apart from the salad bar, we also found a bread bar.
Another area of the restaurant is the egg station where you can choose how you want your egg cooked. The egg station has ingredients that will spice up your omelette like cheese, bacon, ham, mushroom and so forth. Of course, a Chinese restaurant/ Asian menu would not be complete without the dimsum area. My friend Monica kept on coming back for the chicken feet which she loved.
For drinks, they had hot coffee, hot choco, hot tea in different flavors like mint, chamomile, fruit and black and orange juice.
Apart from their buffet food, Makan Makan also offers a sumptuous mix of dishes in their menu including Thai cuisine, Malaysian dishes and Singapore food like Pad Thai Seafood, Laksa, Char Kway Teow, Crispy Cereal Prawns and Chili Crab.
